Halloween Family Fun

Being an estate agent isn’t the only job that I know and love, I am also a very proud mum to two young children ages 7 and 9 and a step parent to teenagers.

As well as meeting home sellers and buyers throughout the south of Birmingham on a daily basis, valuing homes and finding tenants, I also love to take my children on days out in and around the West Midlands.

With the spooky season now upon us, I thought I would share some of my favourite places we have visited over Halloween🎃

 

Trick or Treat Street!

Last year was our first visit to Cattows Farm in Leicestershire and it didn’t disappoint, so much so we are heading back there on Friday! The props used make you feel like you’ve stepped into an immersive Halloween world with a huge circus tent called Trick or Treat Street to walk around and knock on doors to be tricked or treated.

It also has the Lost Fantasy World, an exciting inflatable experience, amongst the spooky jungle, with over 30 inflatables. As you leave there you can head to the food village to have a much needed rest before entering the circus ready for the show which runs three times a day.

You can also get lost in the creepy corn Maize with more with live actors and props and if you make it out of here alive there is a pumpkin patch and fun fair to finish off the day!

Half Term @West Midlands Safari Park
Spooky Spectacular Event!

WMSP is a place we make sure to visit at least once a year. They always make huge efforts with their Halloween decorations and this year they have an impressive Pumpkin Patch too.

During half term they have ‘Patch and Friends’ who put on a fantastic live show at different intervals throughout the day. After the drive around to see the Safari animals we enjoy visiting the theme park making for a perfect family day out!

Warwick Castle

As a family we love to explore old houses and castles and Warwick Castle still stands untouched in all its glory. If you visit this place for Halloween, it’s creepy dungeon with live actors really gives you the ‘feels’ as to what gruesome ends a lot of people had to endure thousands of years ago! They also have the castle after dark attraction this year, which I haven’t visited myself, but it looks good for the older children.
