Speak with an independent mortgage broker. This will save you time searching the market yourself, speaking to an expert before hand will help give you a clear idea of your budget before starting your property search.
Make sure you have enough money saved up for your deposit, fees, any surveys and enough left over to make the house your home. Don’t rush or overstretch yourself.
